Because the thing is, I know firsthand what it feels like to be living life as another “statistic.” You know, doing what you think you should be doing and wanting what you think you should be wanting. Forcing yourself into a box that wasn’t made for you, doesn’t celebrate you and, even if you did fit in, it would be at the expense of all your values and roots.
I know what it feels like to be unhappy, unfulfilled, dissatisfied and discouraged with life.
KNOWING THERE’S MORE,
BUT NOT SURE HOW OR WHERE TO FIND IT.
I attended personal development seminars, conferences, and took personality quizzes in an attempt to feel like I had more insight and understanding of myself, but that really didn’t go anywhere.
I fulfilled the dream of teaching abroad, backpacking across Thailand, Australia, Philippines, Central America.
I DIDN’T FIND MYSELF.
I spent hours self-analyzing, doing therapy, going through trainings…but still remained forever the student or client.
I travelled the world. I partied. I did yoga.
I pursued social studies and explored social discourse. I played basketball and softball, did kickboxing, boxing, escrima/kali. I lived for extended periods of times in different communities of varying majorities. I changed industries multiple times.
But I still found myself wanting more. I often wondered about life and the meaning of it. I constantly asked myself how I could effectively contribute to the world.
SOMETHING WAS ELUDING ME, BUT I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT.
It wasn’t until I settled into the beginning of my (unfulfilling) corporate career, going through the motions of life that I had an experience that changed everything.
It was just another night of playing basketball with a local organization, talking with a teammate, when he said with so much truth and conviction, “You can have everything you want. Without the struggle. You can have it with ease and be supported by the Universe. You’re not alone. Everything is possible.”
IT WAS A MOMENT OF AWAKENING.
Here was a person, like me, telling me I can do more. He was showing me that he had done more and was offering me the same opportunity.
It was like my inner flame had been reignited. I was in my heart for the first time. Feeling. I had received permission to be here as I am and I was allowed to dream.
He continued to look directly at me and spoke from his heart, “I know what it’s like, I was there. Things I never thought would happen, did. In a good way!”
It wasn’t until that very moment that I realized what I actually thought had been “living,” wasn’t actually living. Success wasn’t actually success if it was at the expense of myself, my unique gifts and expressions, and the gifts and expressions unique to my ancestors.
IT WAS MAKING- DO. PLAYING SMALL. SURVIVING.
Being forced into a box. I was succeeding in a box that wasn’t made for me, didn’t celebrate me and didn’t honour me. And it certainly didn’t teach me about my gifts and chosen expression of the Divine.
That day on the bleachers, my soul cried. It was finally free. I was no longer numb. I needed to know more. I couldn’t ignore it anymore.
It was like the Universe was speaking through him and presenting me with an amazing opportunity…the elusive thing I had been searching for.
AND NOW IT WAS UP TO ME TO SAY
TO THE JOURNEY AHEAD.
I had spent my life just scratching the surface of life, but yearning for depth at the same time. I had tried everything…different careers, yoga, other healing modalities, travel, partying, hiding…but nothing gave me a sense of self-acceptance, self-love and self-worth.
That is, until, I had that moment of awakening and knew what it felt like to really be LIMITLESS. It was like the whole world and universe was available to me. I was allowed to have it, because it was my birthright.

That’s why I founded The Inner Light Training (TILT) Centre, a safe and sacred place where my clients gain the very same tools of empowerment from an unbroken, universal, lineage of over 3,000 years. These tools and teachings used to be exclusive to the world-wide nobility, leaders, game-changers and historical figures.
